Crunch Challenge

A little bit everyday adds up to results.

Crunches Challenge

Yay its time to work on our abs…. just think … how much stronger your core will be after the 30 day challenge.  

I don’t know if you are like me,  however I have decided that these short monthly challenges that take minutes per day to do, is the exercise program for me.  

Exercise what do you think when you hear that word. 

Its interesting how just hearing a word can make  you feel one way or another emotionally. For me that word has the power to make feel an emotion.  For each person the word exercise can bring out a  different emotion.

One way the word Exercise makes me feel is pressure. I don’t know if you can relate to any of these feelings… But here are some of mine

The pressure if I don’t do it 

The pressure of I do do it

The pressure of getting to a gym

The pressure while being at the gym

The pressure of how I look if I do work out

The pressure of what others think I should look like if I go to a gym

and so many more….

My solution to exercise…. is to do it at home…. and I choose to believe that taking simple concentrated steps each day will make a huge difference to my health and body for the future and results that are what I want now.

A little bit everyday works and makes a difference…..Consistence is key.

ABS are this months focus and to work on ABS we need to being doing “crunches” 

I am looking forward to this challenge and hopefully you will join us.

What are crunches and how do they benefit us…

A crunch is considered a half – sit up. It exercises the abs specifically.

A core benefit of a crunch is to  help to strengthen the core buy strengthening your abdominal muscles.

 – A strong core helps with posture and helps to prevent lower back pain and muscle injury.

Building strength in your body is so important for our bodies as we age.  It’s not about what your weight it is about very important to be strong.

Yummy… Have you tried Coconut Water, one of my favourite drinks. So many benefits for your health.

Benefits / Fun Facts

  1. A natural isotonic beverage , contains the same salt concentration as cells and blood. Consider it “nature’s Gatorade”
  2. It is the Fluid of life. During the Pacific War of 1941-1945 both sides regularly used coconut water to give emergency plasma transfusions to the wounded soldiers.
