Becoming Healthy and Staying Healthy
So many of us are worried about our weight and what size we wear. Is that all we are thinking about or does our Health play into the equation. Do you want to be skinny or healthy? Remember staying Healthy helps you to live a long life with great health, having fun and spending more time with your family and friends. I understand the being an ideal weight or size is what is sold to us in the media but how often when we look at those skinny models do we think that they look healthy?
3 Tips for Getting Healthy
1.It’s not about losing weight. There is so much more to being healthy.
Did you know that you can be very slim and yet very unhealthy? And Health is really the best goal for all of us. So when you look in the mirror and say terrible things about your body, things like
You look old
You are so fat
If only I could lose that baby weight
I would be more successful in life if I was slimmer
And… Then You start picking at certain places on your body and deem them unattractive. Or worse you won’t even look in the mirror anymore!
Keep in mind… it’s not all about losing weight there are so many other elements to being healthy.
2. What about how you feel
Do you think you could FEEL better than what you do right now? What you put in your body and mind affect how you feel and even how you think about your self.
If you could have More Energy, would you have More Freedom to get off the couch and put a smile on your face, simply because you feel great! Feeling great radiates health and wellness to yourself and those around you.
3. How you think
By changing a few habits each day you can slowly change how you think, by reading better books, watching better tv and hanging out with people that are encouraging both on and offline. A change in your thinking can have results like wanting and choosing to go for a walk also putting good food in your body instead of having to do those things.
What if you could feel good and lose weight as a benefit of thinking different. What if the thought of losing weight is not your ‘REASON” to get healthier. Different thoughts + Different Results
You may already do some great things for your health but what about more…. do you think you could increase your level of good health this year.
What if you had so much energy and felt so great that everyone around you feels it too and wants to do what you are doing because you inspire them?
